OK-went out with my daughter at 5am and participated in some of the pre-dawn craziness.
Picked up socks for everyone at Fred Meyer, a few seasons of TV ($10.00/season) and jeans ($7.50/pair) for one needy son at Target, a few items at Staples (slight disappointment because I failed to read the fine print, which stipulated one item only and involving a rebate), and 2 warm tops for daughter at Kohls. Some good deals, some left behind, a delightful adventure, and (as usual) a few things I'm sure I'll take back!
(I tend to overdo the material side of Christmas-not the point at all.)
